Nearly caught up with the avalanche of quilts that came in with Christmas and January deadlines.
This is the time of year when many will set goals for the new year and reflect on what they accomplished during the past year. I'm looking around at the lists of things I wanted to get done, never quite getting as much done as I had hoped, but ready to start anew in 2014.
So what will 2014 bring for you? Do you have a list of quilts you want to make? I do - and goals to become more efficient and organized in the process!
Do you follow Bonnie Hunter? I tell you, that girl can get you motivated to make quilts! I watch in wonder at how much she accomplishes in short order - and that's with all her traveling around the world. I think I need to learn some of her methods to work smarter - and make decisions quicker. If you haven't found her yet - check her out at www.Quiltville.com - she has lots of information on her website. I think I'm going to set up her Scrap User System and see if that helps me finish more quilts in 2014. Can't hurt - right?
In case you haven't heard, I will be picking up quilts at Log Cabin Fabrics the first Sunday each month at 1pm starting January 5th, 2014! So, plan to visit me there - and let's finish those quilts in 2014!
Happy New Year everyone! May you be blessed with excellent health, the best of friends and relationships, a sense of purpose and accomplishment, and good fortune to help yourself help others how ever you can for the rest of your days! Be kind to one another. Namaste!
